Pakistan Medical Commission (PMC) has agreed at the same time to perform entrance tests for medical faculties around the country. The Pakistan Medical Council has discontinued all entrance tests for medical faculties throughout the country. PMC will implement a standardized strategy for admission to medical and dental faculties in Pakistan and will undertake a comprehensive MDCAT initiative.
As a result, PMC can administer one entry test for admission to any or all medical and dental faculties within the region. This entrance examination is known as the National Medical and Dental College Acceptance Exam. The dates of the test shall be proclaimed after 2 October 2020.
Now this year National MDCAT will be held. The entrance test in Punjab was likely to be conducted on 18 October 2020.
