The National University of Medical Sciences (NUMS) has officially announced the MDCAT 2025 new date. Earlier planned for September 14, 2025, the exam will now take place on September 28, 2025. The change was made because of heavy rains and floods in different regions of Pakistan.

Why Was the NUMS MDCAT 2025 Rescheduled?
According to NUMS, thousands of students were affected by the floods and bad weather, which made it hard for them to travel, prepare, or reach their exam centers. By shifting the MDCAT exam date, NUMS aims to ensure fairness and equal opportunity for all candidates.

NUMS is the admitting university for many respected medical and dental colleges in Pakistan. Its top public institute is Army Medical College Rawalpindi (and its Dental Section), known for its strong reputation and academic standards.
